Fabric choice

Variants

This pattern gives you the opportunity to make not 1, but several garments. Here is an overview of all the variants you can make with this pattern.

Level

The difficulty of this pattern is between 1 and 2 dots. The variants with 1 dot are perfect beginner projects with few steps and therefore all done very quickly. The variants with double sleeves and bow ties we gave 2 dots because they require a little more work, but it is certainly not difficult!

Fit

Willy features a straight fit with grown-on sleeves and a relaxed, roomy body. The design offers ample ease at the hips, and side slits at the hem provide added comfort. The hem lengths vary by style: the crop top ends at the waist, the T-shirt hem falls between the waist and hips, and the dress hem is calf-length. For smaller sizes (up to 6 years), the dress hem ends just below the knee.
The neckline offers two finishing options: a snug fit with a neckband or a slightly wider fit with facing.

• Cheat sheet
  Print this one-page sheet with key information and space for notes to store alongside your paper pattern pieces.
  
• A4/letter pattern for home printing
  This file contains all the pattern pieces needed to create every variant. After printing, you’ll need to tape or glue the pages together before cutting out the pattern pieces. Learn how to assemble the pieces quickly and easily here.
  
• A0 pattern for copy shop printing
  Don’t want to tape pieces together? No problem! This large format pattern can be printed at a copy shop or fabric store offering print-on-demand services. If you don’t own a plotter, this is a great alternative.
• Both the A4/letter and A0 pattern files have separate layers for sizes and seam allowances. You can easily uncheck layers you don’t need, printing only your size with or without seam allowances. This allows you to directly cut out the printed pieces. If you prefer to add your own seam allowances, simply uncheck the seam allowance layer. Be sure to inform your copy shop to select the correct layers!

Notions

Fabric requirements 

The fabric lengths charts show how much fabric you will need for all variations, calculated on a standard fabric width of 140 cm - 1.55 yd. If your fabric is narrower, you will need more fabric length. For broader or narrower fabrics you can calculate how much fabric you will need by laying out the pattern pieces on the table according to your fabric width and measuring how much fabric length you will need accordingly.
